editing services

FREE 1,000-word edit

Then, priced from $0.020 per word

Need help getting your story ready for publication? Book editing services.

  • Developmental Editing: for projects that are in earlier stages. Covers bigger-picture issues including flow, structure, and content. Minimum two drafts completed.

  • Copyediting: for projects that have gone through developmental edits and are 3-4 drafts in. Covers smaller issues like sentence structure, repetition, and grammar.

  • Proofreading: best for polished projects. Considered the “final view” where any remaining errors in spelling and grammar are corrected.

What happens next?

  1. I provide you with a quote including cost and timeline

  2. I provide tracked changes through Google Docs or Microsoft Word (whichever you prefer)

  3. I return your project to you in chunks and we can meet to discuss the edits (optional - consultation fees apply)

Each project requires a non-refundable 10% deposit prior to services being rendered.
