Just. Get. Words. On the page. πŸ”Έ That is my goal today πŸ˜†. What's yours?
Everything beautiful and wonderful and good has the potential to prick you in the finger. πŸ”Έ But if you keep the beautiful, wonderful, good parts in focus, it can take the sting right out. πŸ”Έ I don't know if you're struggling to keep the good in mind today, but if you are, stop and think of five things you're grateful for, big or small. It sounds lame, but it worked for me today. Maybe it will work for you too 🧑. πŸ”Έ And if it's tough to get going on your goals today, remember why you started. Imagine where you want to end up. πŸ”Έ You guys are such a sweet community 🧑. I'm thankful to be on this writing journey with you!!
β˜• Longing for a slow morning with a London fog and space to daydream β˜• πŸ”Έ Do you ever just sit and let your mind wander? What would happen if you did?
@stevie.writes challenged me to share 5 random facts about myself, so here I go πŸ™ƒ: πŸ”Έ 1. I have over 50 houseplants 🌱 and firmly believe that greenery is a necessity for anyone living in a concrete jungle ☝🏻😜. πŸ”Έ 2. I used to play 🎹 and flute, but now I just play a little 🎸and sing for funsies. πŸ”Έ 3. I grew up in Florida, but moved to Canada when I was 19 to go to school (and now I'm stuck here. Send oranges!!! Jk) πŸ”Έ 4. I began my writing career at age seven by rewriting the books my teacher read to us in class lol. πŸ”Έ 5. I have never broken a bone πŸ€• (and hope to keep it that way!) πŸ”Έ I challenge... @writerkmorey 🧑 @writingathome 🧑 @writing_mags 🧑
What was the first book that made you think: 'I want to write one of these some day'? πŸ”Έ How long after did you start writing? πŸ”Έ I began working on my first novel at 22, shortly after feeling my inspiration renew during a class on Canadian novels (βœŒπŸ»πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦). But that seems unusual to me. πŸ”Έ Typically I find there's quite a delay between a moment of inspiration and the actual getting started part. πŸ”Έ What's it like for you?
Finished Cress last night!! This series officially has my 🧑 πŸ”Έ You gotta admire the ability to maintain consistency, multiple plot lines, character development and suspense throughout an entire series of books. πŸ”Έ Me: 🀯 πŸ”Έ I'm not writing a series, so I can't fully appreciate the work it takes, but holy crap. It seems like a BEAST of an undertaking. πŸ”Έ Are you writing a series? What've been the most and least fun parts of the process so far?
